Adventure, excitement.

A Jedi may not crave these things, but none the less they always seem to find them.Turns out that my passion for politics has once again, placed me in a position to take a step into the unknown. I can't go a day without some sort of political discourse. While I try to balance myself on sites such as Facebook, I would never really shut up anyway, and well, I'm not that great at typing, for my book I purchased talk to text software to help me out, and while a serious case of writers block has that project on hold I am taking some advice to the next level.... and beyond. Talk it out they say... well, they got it.

On 13 September 2011 I will be launching my first show as a radio broadcast host "The Classical Liberal" where I will be discussing current events and politics in general through the classical liberal/libertarian perspective, and while I look forward to it, I can't help but wonder... will it work? Can I even fill an hour time-slot? Alright, now that you are done laughing (for those of you who know me best), just nod your head, agree with me on this one, and wish me the best. :)

Today, I ran my first test show. No audience, no phone calls, just me talking to myself (nothing unusual there) to check my mic and familiarization with the software. In addition, I was able to put together a rather decent intro track (better than the show image by far) which will get its first test in the next couple of days along with my first test caller(s). Show notes are already being prepared, topics found, and my guest wish list is being assembled. With just over two weeks to go before launch, I'm not gonna lie, getting a few butterflies, but hey, whats the worst that can happen, right?

More updates as the big day approaches
